A note from Mr. Robert C Socha:
"I was the Production Stage Manager
for the bus and truck tour of Beatlemania.
I have never been more proud of any
production or group of people that I have ever worked with.
I designed and built the condensed
touring set that your website has photos posted of from the shows at the
Beverly
Wilshire theatre.
That set was used from 1980 to 1984.
Prior that the B & T used a black carpeted floor instead of the raked
floor and pie shaped drum riser.
The bus and truck tour, sometimes
referred to as "Beatlemania in Concert" played tons of shows from 1979
to 1984 when it performed the last Beatlemania show ever.I'd like to mention
that we had two offstage musicians who we carried with us instead of using
local union musicians.
We also had a kick a** crew and I
think it might be nice to include these guys on you website.
They are the guys that made that show
happen for a lot of people in this country and Canada.
Sincerely, Robert
C Socha" |
